Fun Kid's Craft with Wikki Stix

I recently came across this idea on a children's book blog. I bought all the materials and my kids LOVED it! It was fun and educational. Basically, they used golf balls (or something similar) and the wax covered yarn, Wikki Stix to make the planets from a cute children's book about the solar system.



I have to say that these Wikki Stix have been such a great bargain for our family because there are so many ways to use them, they don't make a mess, and they're REUSABLE!!

We made some cute Halloween characters out of them, and plan to make Christmas ornaments too.
